We have purposefully designed it this way. They simply choose a topic that really interests them and use the learning prompts to complete their project. Our aim is that it inspires a thirst for knowledge, fosters self-motivated learning and encourages independence. The Curiosity Project Book has been designed to largely be a ‘blank canvas’. We’d love your child to add to borders, to doodle as they think, to colour in their pictures and add whatever creative splashes of colour they feel like. It is theirs to personalise and we hope this gives them a sense of ownership and pride in their work. The activities can be completed in any order but it would make sense to end with the presentation once your child has had a good chance to fully explore their topic. What age is the Early Years Halloween Activity Pack suitable for? Our age recommendation for this pack is approximately 3-7/8 years. However, we always say that ability is very subjective; what will be right for one child won’t necessarily be right for another of the same age. The pack has been designed with families in mind so there is intended to be a variety of activities to suit a wide range of younger ages. It may well be suitable for younger or older children depending on the individual child. The activities can be completed to your child’s own level. A younger child may need adult adult support or may choose to respond with pictures rather than words or have you scribe their ideas. Some activities are intended to be enjoyed together rather than independently. It is important to remember that our activity packs are not meant to mirror what a child has been doing (or would be doing) in school, but are instead meant to engage them, spark their love of learning and most of all be FUN!
